Closing the 60th edition, the pioneer of French disco Marc Cerrone delivers an intense reinterpretation of his greatest hits, accompanied by a symphony orchestra. In the 1980s, Cerrone inspired a new generation of DJs who would go on to global success, including Daft Punk and Cassius. Forty years later, this drummer and Otis Redding enthusiast had two billion viewers dancing at the foot of the Eiffel Tower during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Cerrone returns to Montreux, revisiting the stage for the second time after his 2012 appearance at the Freak Out! Night, where he performed alongside Nile Rodgers, Grace Jones, and Mark Ronson.
