Lidia Madruga

A singer and percussionist born in Cienfuegos (Cuba), I started out at a very young age in children’s choirs and musical projects. I’ve been a member of groups such as Canticus Novus, Ismaelillo and La Edad de Oro, with whom I’ve toured the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil and elsewhere.
I took part in the Boleros de Oro festival alongside Omara Portuondo, ELA Calvo and Beatriz Márquez, as well as the Adolfo Guzmán concert. Lead singer of the groups Arte Mixto and Son del Sur, I have also collaborated with Los Hermanos Novoa.
I sang on cruises and in hotels in Cancun (Riu, Iberostar), before touring Turkey with my own project in 2017. In 2018-2019, I was the lead singer of the ‘ROYAL’ circus on tour in Europe (Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany).
After moving to Spain, I sang in many hotels and stages, collaborating with artists such as Alain Pérez, Kelvis Ochoa or Telmarys.
I am currently a member of the group INTERACTIVO and run my own project, ATEMPO, with which I take part in various jazz and Latin music festivals.
