In an unprecedented four-handed recital, Thibault Cauvin and -M- (Matthieu Chedid) mirror each other’s virtuosity on acoustic and electric guitars, taking an instrumental journey to the frontiers of classical music, pop and rock. The expressive duo share an uncommon synchronicity which is guided by authenticity and a taste for creating singular musical worlds. Scheduled for release in June 2024, the album L’Heure Miroir will showcase the genius of the two guitarists through previously unreleased material, revisiting songs by -M- and enchanting covers of classical and pop works. Thibault Cauvin, the world’s most decorated guitarist (36 international prizes), has given over a thousand performances in 130 countries. As for -M-, he is now a regular at the Montreux Jazz Festival. He has played for Quincy Jones and taken part in some of the Festival’s most memorable jam sessions.
