Rodry-Go!
Rodry-Go was born in Cartagena, Colombia, where he was surrounded by Afro-Colombian rhythm and music all the time. In 1987, he studied at the prestigious School of Fine Arts in Cartagena.
In 1995, Rodrigo moved to Switzerland and began to play with the Cuban Power Band (Latin Jazz and Funk). In 1998, he became part of the Alfredo de la Fe Orchestra, with whom he traveled all over the world and participated in many festivals, concerts, and recordings.
Rodry-Go also had the honor of working with big salsa stars such as Celia Cruz, Giovanni Hidalgo, Tito Nieves, Richie Ray, Jimmy Bosch, Dave Valentin, Chico Freeman, Albita Rodriguez, Cheo Feliciano, José Alberto “El Canario”, New York Salsa All Stars, Andy Montañez, Willy Chirino, Loco Escrito, Grupo Extra, and Marc Sway.
He has also shared the stage with artists such as George Benson, Carlos Santana, Anastacia, Barry White, Deep Purple, Cool and the Gang, Tom Jones, Daddy Yankee, Prince Royce, and countless other high-profile musicians.
Rodry-Go currently lives in Europe and has established himself as a respected musician, producer, percussionist, songwriter, singer, and rapper.
