Klawo is a six-piece band from Gdansk blending funk, jazz, indie, hip-hop, and electronic sounds into a post-Dilla aesthetic. Their rich and groovy sound, layered with horns and flutes, draws comparisons to contemporary British jazz as well as 70s Polish funk. Their second album, 2 bobry i zachód słońca, released in 2025 on Coastline Northern Cuts, showcases their collaborative and genre-blurring approach. Known for their high-energy performances, they’ve toured 11 countries and received several awards, including the Jazz in the Park Competition. Klawo is now considered one of the most exciting acts in Poland’s vibrant music scene.
