Basile de Suresnes
In just a few short years, Basile de Suresnes has carved out a place for himself in the world of electronic music. A DJ with a sharp selecta, a producer of bangers, co-founder of the label Frappé (which needs no introduction) and boss of his own label Bazdesur, he has become a key player on the house music scene. Bazdesur first came to prominence as a DJ. His high-energy, multi-influenced performances soon took him to some of the capital’s biggest clubs and festivals, where he played alongside some of the city’s top artists: the legendary Rexclub (where he had a residency with Frappé), the Djoon, the Yoyo, and the Marvellous Island festival. Basile de Suresnes now plays all over France, as well as abroad, with appearances in Berlin’s top clubs such as Sisyphos and Club Renate. Also a producer, Basile de Suresnes released the EP ‘So Good’ in 2024, a disco house anthem which Laurent Garnier played in his official DJ MIX for Fabric London’s 25th anniversary. In 2023, he also released ‘U all disco lovers. F***’, which was hailed by the critics and quickly played by the likes of Jamies Jones, Riva Starr and Crackazat. Meanwhile, the Frappé label he co-founded with Ten Fingerz will be celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2025. It’s a prolific project, with over 30 releases and a host of new collaborations: DJ Sneak, Art of Tones, Demuir, Deborah Aime la Bagarre and Crackazat. The label’s productions are now played all over the world, with Folamour playing a track from the catalogue in its Boiler Room in February 2024. Finally, 2024 also saw the arrival of the Bazdesur label, a solo project through which he intends to ‘explore the electronic music of tomorrow’. In short, he’s an artist not to be missed.
