Percussionist, composer, producer and eclectic DJ, Beppe Loda is a central figure of italian club culture. His unusual style stroke the listeners immediately, when, in 1973, he was mixing rock songs on disco rhythm at the Kinky club in Manerbio. Beppe started musical productions in the 80’s, collaborating and consulting with numerous Italian-disco artists. Long is the list of his music projects such as MC1, the Egotrya Group or Sirus. During this time, he also developed his unique sound and skills during his residency at the emblematic Typhoon club where several generations of dancers were hypnotized by his “Afro” style mixing afrobeat, new wave and krautrock all together. Owner of a music store, he passionately dedicated himself to the spread of record culture. In the 90s he opened the road to HD recording, becoming the pioneer of this style and mixing more than 60 tracks for other artists. The list of the cities where Beppe has performed is long: London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Detroit, Chicago to name a few but a premiere at Montreux Jazz Festival this year for the Strangelove ღ party!
