Madd (real name Mehdi Ribati) is a Moroccan artist, musician, songwriter and composer born in 1995. He came to public attention in 2017 with the track 3310 and a number of singles that established his place as one of the leading artists in the Moroccan music scene. In the wake of these successes, he became a member of the NAAR collective and played an active part in the album SAFAR, released by Island Def Jam in 2019. His collaborations with international artists (Laylow, Drefgold, Kaydy Cain, etc.) within this project laid the foundations for the export of Moroccan rap to Europe. It was in this context that he took part in a European tour that took him to key destinations such as France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. In 2020, he released his first solo album, Black Rose, which was both a commercial and critical success.
