In the beginning, Passenger was the story of two musicians. Since 2009, it’s been the story of Michael Rosenberg, bearded composer and poet, who left Brighton to start a solo career in Australia. With help from a folk guitar and a smooth voice, he writes delicate songs that take you on a melancholic ramble. Things accelerated when he went on tour with Ed Sheeran in 2012. He revealed himself to the world, which immediately fell under the spell of his song “Let Her Go”. Voted single of the year in Great Britain, this track has garnered more than a billion views on YouTube. Mind-blowing success! Returning to Montreux after an enchanting visit in 2014, Passenger will present his eighth studio album, Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea, a new collection of bittersweet ballads.
