Think back. In 2013, the Lab enthusiastically sang out the “Ho Hey” of a catchy and ubiquitous track. A track by the Lumineers, one that pushed them to the forefront of the international scene. Four years later, this American folk-rock trio has really gone places. They return to the Stravinski this time to present Cleopatra, a new, more mature, and wiser album with a more muted sound. A voyage between dusty country and rock that is at once dark, fragile, and organic. Originally from Denver, Wesley Schultz (vocals, guitar), Jeremiah Fraites (drums, piano) et Neyla Pekarek (cello) have conquered the heart of Europe with an overflowing joie de vivre and contagious melodies. With their new show, these musicians stake a claim to a veritable identity and prove definitively that they are not a one-trick pony.
